About Me – James Allen

About Me:

I am a Masters Graduate of Sports Therapy from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan)

Based back in my home city of Sheffield, I am available to provide a Sports Therapy service to members of the general public who actively participate in sport and exercise at any level

I am a fully paid member of the Society of Sports Therapists who provide me with my public indemnity and professional liability insurance

I've also completed a valid and recognised first aid qualification called Managing Incidents in Sport and Exercise First Aid

Experience:

• Working in a friendly Sports Therapy clinic at the University of Central Lancashire (2008)
• Assisting the Head Sports Therapist at Bradford City Football Club (2009)
• Providing a successful Sports Massage service at the ASA Masters Swimming Championships held at Ponds Forge, Sheffield for the last three years (2009, 2010, 2011)
• Working at The BUPA Great Manchester Run providing Sports Therapy to athletes running for  the Charity Scope (2011)
