Q. Will sports massage be painful?

Sports massage is different to a relaxation or beauty massage.

Sometimes, I will need to apply pressure which may be quite intense and you might find uncomfortable.

If so, I will work with you at a level that you can cope with and adjust pressure to the level that you are comfortable with.

Q. How many sessions might I need?

How long and how many treatments will depend on the nature, severity and location of your injury or problem and what you want to achieve from the therapy.

Q. Do you do any other days at Concord or elsewhere?

I am only doing Monday evenings at the moment but other evening sessions may become available.

I am also available most Saturdays at Greens Health and Fitness Club in the South of Sheffield.

I can also offer a mobile sports massage service at your home.

Q. How much space do you need for a home appointment?

I will bring a portable massage/treatment table.

I will need space to put it up and move around it, and also some space to do the assessment.

Q. What sort of lotions do you use?

I use Chemodol massage lotion and massage oil.

However, prior to massage I will check first to see whether you have any allergies.

Q. How can I pay?

I prefer cash. I will also accept a cheque with a guarantee card and your address.

I do not take cards.
